Think Fit was launched in 2012 by director and lead instructor Nicola Rae and delivers a boutique personal fitness experience, both from our studio on Belfast’s Lisburn Road and online. We believe in a holistic approach to fitness, and nutrition and mental wellbeing are also important aspects of our service. Read more about us here.

Our studio address is 168 Lisburn Road, Belfast BT9 6AL. Heading out of the city centre, we are on the left side of the road, just after the turn off at Malone Avenue.

You first need to register with us, create and account and — for personal training only — arrange your 1:1 consultation. Then you can book, pay for, and view your upcoming classes and sessions here, or via the Think Fit app which you can access on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
After you’ve registered with us and created your account, you need to buy a pass before you can book your first class. We offer a wide range of Think Fit group class passes to give you maximum choice and flexibility.

You’ll need to register with Think Fit first, create your online account, and then buy a block of Pilates sessions before you can book your first class. We have a range of blocks for Pilates sessions, giving you a mix of booking options.

Your Think Fit consultation with one of our trainers will take 30 minutes and involves exploring your history, lifestyle and goals and how we can help you realise them within our unique approach to fitness, nutrition, and wellbeing. When you’re ready, just book your consultation here. We do have to charge for this at the time of booking to ensure attendance, but the £15 fee is redeemable against any service you then sign-up for on the day.
You’ll first need to register online with Think Fit, create your account and book your 1:1 consultation before you can organise your personal training schedule. Once you’ve had your consultation, you can go ahead and buy the PT sessions block that suits your needs and then start booking your sessions here.

We do require appropriate clothing and footwear for all our classes and sessions, but there’s no need to rush out and buy the latest gear! Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. We do however highly recommend proper running shoes — especially if you’re just starting out — as these provide the right support. Due to the terms of our insurance cover, we will unfortunately have to send you home if you forget your trainers.
No — we have everything you need in the Think Fit studio so it’s not necessary to bring anything of your own. We disinfect every piece of equipment after every use.
No, we don’t. Just bring an empty recyclable bottle for filling at our triple-filtered water fountain.
No. Our private studio space is reserved for Think Fit clients only and there’s no access unless you’ve booked a class, Pilates or PT session, or you are there for your initial 1:1 consultation.
We’ll base our live online 1:1 sessions on whatever equipment you have at home and our trainers will plan your programme around that. And don’t worry if you don’t have any equipment — that’s fine! Your sessions will instead be based on body weight exercises and using household items such as a towel or chair. For our video on demand sessions, we have options for training both with and without equipment.
If you’re training with us at the Think Fit studio, you’ll have access to our body composition scales if you want to use them. We strongly recommend you always track your measurements at home using a tape measure and/or take photos as these will give you a much better indication of your progress, especially if your goal is fat loss and/or muscle gain.
However, we truly believe the best results can’t be measured by numbers, as it’s more important to us that your progress is based on your fitness levels, self-confidence, awareness of your body and how it works, nutrition education, and improved mental health. Aesthetic results will almost always be achieved when working like this.
No — it’s entirely optional! You can always access your account and book and pay for your classes or sessions via this website. But many of our clients prefer to use the app because it’s so convenient. You can access and download the Think Fit app from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
You’ll need to give us 24 hours notice if you want to cancel or rearrange a class or session booking. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, we will deduct the cost of your booking from your account and you won’t be able to reschedule. We do of course understand that emergencies happen, so if you do need to cancel due to extenuating circumstances just call us and we’ll do our best to reschedule your booking.
If you’re using Think Fit’s recurring block class passes, you can cancel at any time but you will lose any classes you haven’t used. For our Unlimited Pilates passes, you can cancel after the first two monthly payments have been made. You won’t be refunded for any portion of your pass still outstanding.
For Personal Training, there is no option to cancel before the end of your one-year, six-month, or three-month contract term. Should you decide not to complete your PT programme with us, you will not get a refund for any time left on your contract with Think Fit. Please check your contract for full details.
